Booking and cancellation terms

Below is the booking terms conserning direct bookings (phone, email, inquiry) and conserning our online-booking system. Please note, that the terms below consern individual bookings.

PAYMENT- AND CANCELLATIONS

ONE BEDROOM COTTAGES: All Tuunaantupa-cottages

Individual bookings are paid in the reception upon arrival (if not mentioned otherwise during online booking and below conserning new year and midsummer festival). Cancellation is free of charge 7 days before the intended arrival. Cancellations made after this / no shows will be charged fully, 100 % of the accommodation booking as a cancellation fee.

Group bookings and bookings 7 nights and longer will be charged upon booking.

  • New Year:All bookings will be charged beforehand, upon booking. When booked from the online-booking system, the payment will be charged from the credit card used in the booking process.
    Bookings can still cancelled up to 21 days before intended arrival. When cancelled, we will keep a 20 € cancellation fee from the refund. Cancellations made after this will be charged fully, 100 % of the accommodation booking as a cancellation fee.
  • Midsummer Festival (mid-june): Bookings will be charged upon booking. When booked from the online-booking system, the payment will be charged from the credit card used in the booking process. No cancellations or refunds are possible after purchase.

TWO BEDROOM COTTAGES: PISTELAHTI, PORTINRANTA, PORTINRINNE, Mäntytupa and pankkotupa

  • Spring, autumn and winter (1.9. - 31.5.): Individual bookings are paid in the reception upon arrival (if not mentioned otherwise during online booking).
  • Group bookings and bookings 7 nights and longer will be charged upon booking.
  • Summer high season (1.6. - 31.8.): All bookings will be charged beforehand, upon booking. When booked directly (phone, email), we will send a pre-invoice when booked. When booked from the online-booking system, the payment will be charged from the credit card used in the booking process.
    Bookings can still cancelled up to 21 days before intended arrival. When cancelled, we will keep a 20 € cancellation fee from the refund (see below) Cancellations made after this will be charged fully, 100 % of the accommodation booking as a cancellation fee.

Cancellation fee

Cancellations always by email to harjunportti@harjunportti.fi.  If the booking has been paid partially / fully in advance, the refund (if the booking has been cancelled according to terms mentioned above) will only be made to the same credit card / same bank account number, where the original payment has been made. When cancelled, we will keep a 20 € cancellation fee from the refund.

If the accommodation invoice hasn’t been paid before due date (only in direct bookings), the booking will be cancelled automatically.

KEYS, CHECKING IN AND OUT, ARRIVAL TIME

Check-in starts at 15.00 and check-out at 12.00. You will get the cottage keys from the reception of Holiday Resort Harjun Portti. If you plan to arrive after our reception is closed, we will leave you the key to a key box: Kindly mention your planned arrival time upon booking!

When you have checked in, be careful with the keys of the cottage, always carry the key with you. But if you lock yourself out of the cottage, our maintenance service is working between Monday – Friday 8.00 – 15.30, at this time we can open the door free of charge for you. Outside these hours, there is Duty personnel who can open the door, opening the door costs 40 € and the payment will be made directly to the Duty person in cash. The phone number of Duty personnel is at the door.

BED LINEN SETS AND FINAL CLEANING

Bed linen sets and final cleaning are not included in the price.

Bed linen and final cleaning are additional services, that are available from Harjun Portti. Guests can also bring their own bed linen and clean the cottage themselves, cottage cleaning will be checked after each visit.

Please note, that although final cleaning has been paid, the guests must take out their own foods, beverages and garbage and also wash the dishes. If the cottage / its surroundings are left exceptionally dirty, there will be extra charges applied.
