Punkaharjun Saunaranta Opens sat 13.6.2026!

Enjoy a relaxed summer atmosphere right by the water at Saunaranta - whatever the weather! Our outdoor sauna area will be completed in our guest harbor at the beginning of June 2026: A new, pop-up-style sauna bar will serve on the shore and three saunas in the terrace area invite you to relax - the scenic sauna, which will be completed in June, will bring a new sauna element. In case of summer rain, there are rest areas for public use.

Public hours in June and July five days a week, outside of which saunas can be booked for private use. Our saunas operate on a walk-in basis, sauna wristbands can be redeemed at the sauna bar or our nearby café-restaurant. It is a very short walk from the saunas to the lake, where there will be several swimming ladders on both sides of the pier.

The pop up-sauna bar is open to everyone! The selection is small, but functional: Refreshments, ice cream and drinks suitable for sauna evenings are available.

OPENING DAY SAT 13.6.!

The sauna bar will open on Sat 13.6. at 1 pm and the saunas will be open from 3-9 pm. On the opening day, a DJ will be responsible for the relaxed beach atmosphere on the beach between 6-9 pm, you can come and enjoy the refreshments and music even without the sauna! The evening will continue with a DJ in our restaurant with the 90's/00's summer party from 10 pm onwards!

SUMMER 2026 PRICING
The price includes three saunas and use of the hot tub (during the stated hours). The beach sauna building has separate changing rooms, showers and toilets for men and women. A locked storage room for valuables. Please familiarize yourself with our sauna etiquette before your arrival.

PRIVATE HOURS
Private use available for all days of the week. On public sauna days before 3 pm and between 8-10 pm. Book one, two or even all three saunas for your use!

Saunas

The three different saunas at Punkaharju Saunaranta offer everyone their own way to relax by the lake views. All saunas are located in a cozy shared patio area, the heart of which is a pop-up sauna bar that opens in the summer – the perfect place to enjoy a cold refreshment while taking a sauna. The patio and break areas are also serving drinks.

Beach sauna
The 12-person beach sauna offers generous and intense saunas all year round – especially popular with open-air swimmers in the winter season. The beach sauna is our main sauna all year round. Changing and washing facilities are located in the harbor building.

Barrell sauna
The barrell sauna for about 8 people charms with its panoramic mirror window, which opens up a magnificent view of the lake (okay, whenever water is not being thrown on the stove!). Here you can enjoy soft and humid saunas in a unique atmosphere.

Scenic sauna
A new addition for the summer, the scenic sauna will be completed during May–June. The stylish sauna, which can accommodate around 8–10 people, has large mirrored windows that bring the lake view into the sauna experience. There is a cozy and small common break room next to the sauna for relaxing between steam baths.
