Lake Pihlajavesi Cycling Route – a unique experience

A 65 km bicycle route with water crossing - in the stunning lake views of Punkaharju. You can access the route from our rental. Check the ticket links for additional dates and book your tickets. With our E-Bikes this route is suitable for all those who seek adventure!

This unique route’s open water crossing is a 1 hour cruise, which goes through an area known for the high chances of seeing the Saimaa ringed seal. In the cruise boat there is possible to buy snacks and beverages and also there is own sauna possibility.

Availability & how it works

This round trip is available (the cruise) on selected dates starting from 1.6.2024, mostly two times a week but check additional dates from the ticket link. Buy the tickets to the ship as soon as possible, as there is small capacity.

You can cycle the route to both directions and there is 2 cruises on cruise dates. The route goes both on tarmac roads but also on quiet gravel-roads. Overall lenght is 65 km of cycling + the 1 hour cruise.

CRUISE TIMES & TICKETS:

The cruise starts from two locations, Kongonsaaren Lossi (north) and Tynkkylä Lomaniemi (south) where is also a café.

From Tynkkylän Lomaniemi - Kongonsaaren lossi: 11.30--> and 14.30-->. Buy tickets Tynkkylä-Kongo
From Kongonsaaren lossi - Tynkkylän Lomaniemi: 13.00--> and 16.00-->. Buy tickets Kongo-Tynkkylä

Cruise duration is approximately 1h and 15 minutes. The cruise boat has a capacity of 12 passengers.
